Check our following recommendations about your stay in Zurich. We recommend visiting Zurich by public transport, as parking can be very expensive.
Tram
If you’re using the tram from the main train station, then you can get the reduced-price “local zone” (Kurzstrecke) ticket from Sihlquai/HB as far as Schiffbau. (The Technopark stop is one stop too far for the “local zone” ticket.) It’s then a 400 metre walk to the conference location.
Bike or scooter
If you’d rather not travel around the city by public transport, but e.g. by bike or scooter, then perhaps check out PubliBike or Tier. (Make sure you obey the rules of the road!)
Parking
If you really need to bring your car, then we recommend buying the day pass for the blue zones, which you can order online (German only!). Alternatively, there’s a list of public parking garages at parkingzuerich.ch (again, only in German, but you can use the Google Map).
